I started out on a truck reluctantly and ended up liking very much. But I always thought that the only good one that interested me was F150 but its gigantic. But man this colorado just speaks to me.

Still too big I think. I think for small truck the last gen S10 was perfect. But this is a good second choice as long as I can get the quad cab and a 5 or 6 speed manual.

I find this one looks much better and the proportions are great. I guess it is big but its in a nice size so that its not a f150 but can still get shit done.

I dont understand your emotion. I mean, why not get a Amarok 4X4 TDI 6 speed like the ones we have in Mexico? (Sorry for the trolling and annoyances, I just had to. )

Cause ' Murica .
I never knew this car existed but the chevy looks better to me and the proportions of the back half is a little better.

Hahah yeah, to each their own. I like the VW more but thats just Fanboyism and the solidity sensation of the switches.

Plus we don't get it in American/Canada. No wonder the colorado hasn't been updated in forever.

Actually, I was quite fond of the last gen GMC Canyons. I don't know why but I wanted one, it looked smaller than my fathers Tacoma, and more agile somehow. I don't know, I will say it in an Oppo Confession my feelings toward it.
I so want a V8 one!

Plus... Chevy reliability and durability versus a cheap VW... Sort of a no brainer.

My dad really like the new Colorado. It's funny, because it's almost the same size as his truck that was considered a full size in 2004. A crew cab with the long bed in blue would be awesome.

Everything about those last gens were nice except the interior. That was a let down, but it's a truck. Plastic makes sense in them.

Its not that big. its the same size as a tacoma and that is significantly smaller than a full size from now or a decade ago. They aren't tiny, but they are far from huge.

The current Tacoma is too big...
Perfect for a weekend hauler in size (trips to the lumber yard, hardware store etc.)

I find it weirdly attractive. Also, the V8. It was available with a V8. Have I mentioned the V8? No, yeah, it had a V8.

Even the 5 cylinder was an okay motor. But the V8 was a beast. There's a couple V8s for sale around here and I want one.

The trouble with the last-gen was that it was...um...terrible.

Did you mention about the V8? Did I mention about the V8. Let me talk to your dad about that V8. What V8? That V8.

Yeah, but V8

That V8 was moving 4,000lbs in crew cab form with 300hp. Not a bad combo.

All I saw from that comment was V8, 300HP, Combo. It was excellent, although a bit old.

The new one makes more than 300hp from it's V6. I think it's more like 320 or 330
